Giving To Spread the Faith

Help Make Spiritual Growth Possible for Future Generations

The Anglican Catholic Church proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ and actively maintains in worship and discipline the traditional Christianity of the early Church.

Do you want to help make sure that witness continues?

Estates

Consider leaving a bequest in your will, which is easy to do. To leave a bequest for the Anglican Catholic Church, you can use the following language:

"I, [name], of [city, state, zip code], give, devise, and bequeath to the Original Province of the Anglican Catholic Church, currently located at 800 Timothy Road in Athens, Georgia 30604 [amount or percentage of your estate or description of property left] for its unrestricted use and purpose."

Retirement Funds

In 2007 if you are 70 or older, you can give the the Anglican Catholic Church up to $100,000 from your IRA. While this is not tax-deductible, the amount up to $100,000 is excluded from your gross income. It also can count toward your IRA required distribution for the year. This may also lower your estate tax in the future and provide you other benefits like reducing the distribution you are required to take each year. This means you may get a double tax benefit from this gift to the Anglican Catholic Church. The donation must be made directly from your IRA to the Anglican Catholic Church.

Property

You can save taxes and help the Anglican Catholic Church by giving appreciated property like stocks or bonds. You can get a deduction for the full value of the appreciated property without having to pay capital gains on the appreciation. You can deduct up to 50% of your income each year for charitable contributions; the remainder can be deducted for up to five years.
