Brochure on the Scott School of Theology
Named for the late Right Rev. Harry B. Scott, III, Bishop Ordinary of the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic States, the School of Theology opened for business in 2001.
The school, which serves the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic States, Anglican Catholic Church, is located in Newport News, Virginia.
The students are provided room and board at the facility. Classes are taught by experienced priests and bishops in the diocese and others.
By residing at the school, students develop a collegial approach that will continue through their studies, their ordinations, and on throughout their lives as clergy.
The Rev. Dr. Daniel C. Warren, M.D., Warden
Warden, The Rev. Dr. Daniel C. Warren, M.D., was ordained into the diaconate in June 2001 and was priested in 2002. He is the rector at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Newport News, Virginia.
Bursar, Blair Plunkett, recently retired as language instructor from Fork Union Military Academy. He now teaches Latin at St. Alban's. Raised a Baptist, Blair has worshipped in the Roman Catholic Church and in the Episcopal Church. He brings great energy and wonderful sense of humor to his new job.
