UECNA House of Bishops joins ACC in opposing the HHS Mandate
The House of Bishops of the United Episcopal Church of North America has joined with the ACC in opposing the Obama administration’s Federal Contraception Mandate. The Mandate, which went into effect on August 1st, requires religious affiliated institutions not only to provide contraceptives as part of their health care plans, but also abortofacients and access to sterilization. Both the UECNA and ACC are now on record as opposing this infringement on religious liberty.
